Kiinnostuin henkisyydestä jo lapsuudessa, kun kokeilin spiritismiä ja huomasin sen toimivan. Kerran onnistuin manaamaan esille hengen ja sen koommin en ole ouija-lautaan koskenut. Myöhemmin opin, että ouija-laudalla leikkiminen on vaarallista, koska se vetää puoleensa alemman tason henkiä. Lisäksi lapset eivät osaa suojata itseään pahoilta hengiltä.
Kymmenisen vuotta sitten koirani oli kuolemaisillaan syöpään ja minulle tuli tunne, että huoneessa oli joku läsnä ja otin koirastani valokuvia. Yhdessä valokuvassa näkyy selvästi pieni vaalea eläinhahmo leijumassa koirani yläpuolella. Kyseessä ei ole heijastus eikä tahra. Näytin kuvaa muillekin ja kaikki sanoivat näkevänsä siinä koiran hahmon.
Isoäitini näki aina enneunta läheistensä äkillisestäkin kuolemasta. Unessa kuolevan taloa korjattiin tai sieltä oltiin muuttamassa pois. Hän kertoi myös usein keskustelleensa kuolleen äitinsä kanssa. Itse koin vaikean sairauden aikana useita ennakkoaavistuksia: tiesin etukäteen, mitä ystävilleni tai itselleni tulisi tapahtumaan. Toivuttuani kokemukset lakkasivat.
En välttämättä halua päästä liian lähelle henkimaailmaa, mutta haluaisin oppia ymmärtämään sitä. Luonnontieteilijänä olen sitä mieltä, että nykytieteen keinot todellisuuden havaitsemiseen ja mittaamiseen ovat rajalliset ja tuhannen vuoden kuluttua tiede ja maailmankuvamme ovat jo aivan toisella tasolla. Kvanttifysiikka on jo nyt edennyt metafysiikan puolelle.
I got interested in spirituality already as a child when I played with the ouija board and found out it really worked. I don't know who I was talking to but it seemed to know everything. Once I managed to materialize a spirit and I got so frightened I never played the game again. Later I learned that it's dangerous to use the ouija board as it attracts only lower level spirits. In addition to that children don't know how to protect themselves from evil spirits.
Ten years ago my dog was dying from cancer and I had a feeling that there was something in the room and I took some photos. In one of the photos you can see a small faint animal figure floating above my dog. It's not a reflection or a stain. I showed the picture to others too and everyone said they saw a figure of a tiny dog.
My grandma always knew beforehand when someone was dying. She had a dream that their house was being renovated or that they were moving out. She also had conversations with her dead mother. When I had a serious illness I often had premonitions: I knew beforehand what would happen to my friends or to myself. When I recovered the premonitions disappeared.
I don't necessarily want to get too close to the spirit world but I would like to learn to understand it. As a natural scientist I believe that we don't have all the means to measure everything that exists and in a thousand years science and our view of life will be on a completely other level. Quantum physics is already there.
